Meet the Bakers
We are a growing team of crafty gals and guys, so take some time to meet our Crafty Bakers!
Pandacakes:
With Sugar On Top was created Amanda, a cupcakes baker by day and super crafty villain by night. All of her creations tend to be a bit on the cutesy side both in and out of the kitchen. She is a 3rd generation baker and crafter, and never remembers actually being taught how to bake or sew. After being in the antique auction business for years, she decided to turn her hobbies into a full time gig. In addition to running, House of Sweets she also has an online boutique, WithSugarOnTop.com where she sells all her handmade crafty goodness.
She can often be found rummaging through boxes of junk at yard sales or sitting in the tattoo chair at, Hellcat Tattoo while her soon to be husband JR finishes adding to her tattoo collection.
This past October Amanda’s brainchild Stitch Rock, an indie craft fair and bazaar, was held in Delray. With over 40 vendors and hundreds in attendance, you can be sure that next years event will be even more exciting!
BrenLynn:
BrenLynn is her name and
clay is her game! (Along with any other kind of crafty, creative, instant
gratification project she can get her hands on!) A Bachelor of Fine
Arts graduate from FAU where she concentrated in ceramics. (Shes a baker alright......of ceramics in a 1800 degree oven!) Influenced by past decade's fads and pre feminist movement
women she always has at least one project going on her wheel, sewing
machine, knitting needles, easel, scrapbook, or journal. Quite the traveler, shes packing a suitcase more than shes punching a time clock.
When shes in town you can catch her doing Yoga on Tuesdays and
Kickboxing on Thursdays.
AnnaPants, Dog Save The Queen:
AnnaPants, Dog Save The QueenDog Save the Queen is PUNK doggie clothing company created by our very own AnnaPants. The line is primarily made for dogs but has a few special pieces for people too! Inspired by her love of punk rock culture and art the many designs are loosely based on the look of old punk rock flyers. DSTQ's objective is to bring you clothes that will give your dog a "ruff n' tuff" punk look. Using a DIY ethic, each screen printed shirt is hand sewn with patches and other rockin' goodies. One of Anna's doggie shirts will defiantly make your your pooch the envy of the dog park!
AnnaPant's also knits and stitches together other unique dolls and scarves, so be on the look for her other goodies too!
